Voucher Scheme - Introduction

The voucher scheme is run by a company called EdenRed on behalf of the UK Government. It has not run smoothly! Here are some links and help for anyone struggling to get the vouchers to work.

To qualify for vouchers you need to be in receipt of benefits related free school meals. This does not include children who receive 'universal free school meals' in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

If you think you are entitled to benefits related free school meals and should, therefore should be receiving the vouchers but haven't, e-mail us on admin@benfield.brighton-hove.sch.uk

If your circumstances have unfortunately changed and you think you now qualify, please visit the 'Free School Meals Applications' page.

Redeeming The Vouchers

Every fortnight you should receive a code from EdenRed. You then visit this page:

click on the button on the right and enter the code you were sent.

The vouchers can be used at the following supermarkets:

  • Morrisons
  • Tesco
  • Sainsbury’s
  • Asda
  • Waitrose
  • M&S

Make sure you read the information on the EdenRed page carefully. They have produced also produced a 'Frequently Asked Questions' pdf guide.  The school office is also available to help.
